Cool. Thanks for the additional details. I won't attempt anything like that for the current console refresh I just started (just gluing down my rolled console edges, and replacing the three high use switches with new, as well as a general clean up and keyless entry install.) But, once my friend gets his 3-axis CNC running (already has a laser cutter) I might have to talk him into some machine time.
