Paul I put a newer one in my car to replace the 85 mph. I called Dave Roberts at 928 Specialists and asked before I did. He said just swap them. Mine did not work before and does not work now. But I have other problems (bad circut board ?). I think that it is a simple swap. Somewhere on one of the sites there is a good write up on how to pull the cluster out. If you need to know where, I can dig through my records to find it.
