14 pin engine bay connector - 86 5.0 litre
I'm rewiring the engine bay of my RHD 5.0 Litre, LH Jetronic 928S, damaged by fire. I bought it this way!
Checking the pin out for the 14 pin engine bay plug, both in the wiring diagram and in posted pin outs, every thing makes sense except pin 7.
Pin 7 is shown as coming from CE Panel Q14 [which connects in the CE Panel to the wire from the fuel pump relay to the fuel pump], and going to an Auxiliary Air Valve. Not the Idle Stabilization Valve but Auxiliary Air Valve.
I don't think such a thing exists on the 86 5.0 Litre LH Jetronic engines?
Can anyone shine some very bright light on this please?

This question came up on the list only a couple of weeks ago. If you're talking about the classic bimetal type airvalve, then these are used on the 16v Euro LH buried under the passenger side runners LHD, but it's IIRC not used on the 5 litre 32v of 85-86.
There's also an airvalve on the crossbrace as mentioned above, but this isn't fed from the FP relay as you describe.

I don't really want to pull my running 14 pin plug apart to see what there and this one is just a bunch of bunt copper strands.
Just another one of Porsche's 86 foibles!
