numbers of eBayers watching 928s
Looking at the garnet red 86.5 Otto posted about, I was pretty surprised to see 61 watchers, with 4 days to go. I don't think I've seen this many watchers of a 928 before (and not for many other types of cars either). Has anyone been even semi formally taking note of an increase in numbers of folks watching 928 auctions? Could be a pretty good indicator of rising interest, regardless if the car sells during the auction.
EDIT: It just occurred to me that perhaps 50 of the watchers are 928 owners on Rennlist who just tuned in.

Seems to be the pastime of so many here, always looking at what's for sale. I couldn't care less. Was fortunate to buy the one I wanted, would never sell, and have no desire for another 1.

Watching on eBay is more than simply opening a given page. The viewer has to add an item to their Watch List: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/watching-items.html - helps them track what happens, when the auction comes to an end, etc.

I had more than that when my S 3 was on eBay. Just window shoppers.

I'm one of the watchers but have no intention of buying. I'm just curious if someone will pay that price. I have seen some real turds on eBay lately for big bucks and was getting curious. IMO the only cars that bring big money are low mileage examples that are original. Guys with close to 100k on there cars and asking high teens are very optimistic. My $.02

Didn't a low mileage 85/86 recently sell for around $16k?
Until it has a PPI its really shooting in the dark to guess the value, and selling price is more about who is currently in the market and how much money they are prepared to spend.
