Mid 80's today in the Los Angeles area. If I can manage the windows well, we won't need the AC this afternoon. I think there migt have been 2 weeks or so where the heat has been on since early December.

The weather has been wacky everywhere. I was in NC a couple weeks ago and got snow and ice, while Atlanta was iced in. Rental cars out of Charlotte don't come with snow/ice scrapers, why would they ever be needed?

New house in central Oregon had more than 2 feet of snow last week, record cold in early December, and we just got a flood warning from the NWS from all the rain and melt runoff. It's OK since it freezes overnight. Contractor is using electric space heaters, and suggests we find secondary financing to cover the power bill.
