Is going from G28/08 to G28/11 Trans a direct swap ? I found a fresh rebuilt
85/86 Trans with limited slip at a great price

bolts right in....linkage MIGHT be slightly different but it will work..

I did what you are doing last year with no problems, everything worked great. I noticed a significantly improved shift quality over my original trans with poor synchros.

If I couldn't drive the car that it was in previously, I don't know if I would just put it in as is relying on the PO to have had a good rebuilder.

Purchased from one of our vendors (in Cali) and never installed. My friend did a LT1 conversion 5 years ago on a 86.5 he got from me and bent the car around a tree before he had a chance to put it in, it has been sitting in his shed ever since wrapped in clear plastic without any fluid in it. Wish I knew he still had it sooner, I don't need it at 57k but I really would like the BW box !
