I use both Gliptone cleaner & conditioner since few years on my Jag and 928. Now both interiors smell the same and I love it!
The cleaner is very gentle but efficient. The conditioner is quite easy to spread, fast absorbed by the hide and never tacky to touch once dry. Just make sure you use a clean soft cloth each time.

Default Gliptone Liquid Leather

+928

I started using this a number of years ago after I saw how it "healed" creases in an old Jaguar seat. It's the best hour I can spend on the interior. I use it on everything - including seats, dash, pod, headliner, rear panels, etc., and they've all stayed soft and supple.

This is another subject that has near religious overtones but I have no qualms about recommending it.

Before you apply any product to your leather interior, you might be interested in reading this. It's a great education on leather care and dispels several myths on the subject.

Bottom line: do not apply any product that is not water based.

Randy, the ones I bought on eBay come as a set--both cleaner and conditioner, and also include a stick for stain removal.

Check eBay as well. Price is lower for some of the sellers, and shipping is free as well.

I'm another Gliptone user - first tried it 6 years ago and liked it.. then switched to leatherique for a bit after all the positive comments about it, and switched back to gliptone.

I find the gliptone is more easily absorbed into the leather, and yeah, it smells better

My trim guy recomended Connoly Hide Food (recently changed names 'cos the FDA decided it wasn't "food" duh ), so I might give that a try for my new leather panels in the 89.

Love it on all my cars were leather is involved.
If you go to the UK site they sell a larger piece of leather (see post #13) that you put under the seat and it makes the whole car smell of leather.

These "fresheners" are available on both Amazon.com and eBay.com web sites.

Do a search for 'Gliptone air fresheners', and quite a few options will come up - from a single up to a box of 10 (on eBay). Most seem to ship from UK, as it doesn't appear anyone stocks them in the US.
