I've had good luck carefully removing the original foil ones and transplanting them, Mine have moved home twice now... Still look good

Careful being ? Heat and or solvent?
Harbor Freight sells what looks like a cheap soldering iron with a razor blade holder on the end. One of those and a heat gun might work well with some caution for non metal below the foil.

Start with a hot radiator - maybe add some gentle heat from a heat gun and use a sharp wide blade, take care initially getting under the edges - after that its easy...
No solvents for removal but perhaps a little on the back side & use a scraper (if needed) to remove traces of the old glue.

We had the gold decals made using a gold material as close to the metal as we could get. Also in Yellow. R12 & R134a.
Stock them all - a lot of the decals are still available from Porsche.
Alarm, Gas, Gas flap, firing order and on and on.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

My car was resprayed by PO and the only stickers I have are the gas flap and options under the rear mat. I have bought some from Roger for the engine compartment but would like to get those inside the door -Vin and paint colour. Are these available as a reorder from Porsche? I am too scared to ask my local dealer after being quoted $728 for one standard Boge shock absorber.

VIN and paint codes are not available for our cars through Porsche. It may be possible to get a VIN with a lot of paperwork but it will not look like the original.

Alan,
We tried the metal foil but could not find anything that worked and at a reasonable cost. So we went with a vinyl type of material that was compatible with the environment and temperature - especially on the top of the rad. Tried to match the gold as close as possible bearing in mind the different materials. Works very well indeed.
They were exact copies of the originals from the later cars and had square corners or a very tiny rad which was not worth the extra tooling to replicate. Earlier decals had much larger rad's on the corners.
On the GTS the "High Energy" seem to be mostly yellow and not gold.
Open to all suggestions.

Gotcha covered on all fronts.
My car is an '89 S4, btw.
I've bought a gold foil material on which you can use an ink jet printer and replicated (with Martin's assistance) the radiator decals. Once printed, I shoot them with the clear coat that Papilio sells and aside from the decal being thinner than the OE foil, they are absolutley spot-on. If you PM me your email address, I'll pass along the template we created in powerpoint.
I also sourced a replicated VIN sticker from a company in Texas (www.escautomotive.com) and provided them with some information on the car and they gave me a perfect replication. I also sourced the Catalyst sticker in the photo from them. Here's the before and after....
The bar-code sticker and the paint code sticker were made from a vinyl material on my ink jet printer, also sourced from Papilio.
