Default Throttle Body

Hi all, did a lot of searching on this forum and others to try and locate my problem but not found the answer im looking for...

I'm in the process of trying to breath life back into a 928 that has been garaged for the last 10 years, so doing all the standard things such as flushing tank / line, new pump, new filters, fresh fluids etc

One thing that i cant work out is my throttle body return, ive removed the top of my inlet manifold to get better access to the butterfly and cleaned it all with Carby Cleaner... so now i can open my throttle by hand but it wont close without a soft tap...

So do i need to clean further maybe with compressed air , or do i need to lube the springs ? any advice to get this fixed would be appreciated..

I should add the car is an 82 4.7

are you checking the closing action with the cable still attached?
If so then maybe the cable is binding.
It would be wise to lubricate the throttle pivot and springs.
