Default Calgary to San Francisco and APIB

Folks.....we are planning an early June trip to San Fran and back and was wondering who might be enroute to visit with.

Thinking of South and West to Spokane, WA....Bend, OR and into Northern CA to Redding, Red Bluff etc

Good plan I'd go through Seattle and Olympia then cut to the coast and take highway 1 (101) down the coast , takes a while but I don't think we will be getting rain so it should be nice.

Our new house in Bend sould be done and more by then. Free use of the crescent wrench and hammer should you need them. As your plans firm up, we can probably offer the Lincoln Bedroom if your political affiliation is adequate.

Our intent is to get to San Fran, visit the sites around the city, down to Half Moon, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel etc and perhaps take in an event at Laguna Seca.

The route we take there and back is TBD but certainly would like to meet as many RListers as possible

No motorcycle horse trading for this cowboy Jim ......learned the smoking lesson long ago when dad suffered and didn't survive the big C

The GTS needs to stretch her legs after we missed some vacation time last year and, oh yeah, we're getting married the week before

Honeymoon in a GTS trip......does it get any better?

Great route. Bend is very near the headwaters of the S4ordie spawning grounds - Prineville. You will very much enjoy the roads and scenery. Bring coats for your time in San Francisco.

There is a considerable Canadian snow-bird population here. It will be 65f here, all locals are in coats and sweaters. Canadians are in tank tops and sandals.

You are family in my book, especially since our GTS's our cousin, less rub strips on mine.

I live in Fremont CA, 40~50 mins away from the San Francisco, aka "the city."

If you need an oil change or pit stop please feel free come my way.

If you two are into Mtn Biking or hiking I live accross some great terrain/ hills.

Or if you need a safe place to park your car and enjoy the city feel free to do so.

Mi casa, you casa.

There's a couple of 928's at Thunder hill your welcome to take round the track. I think my seat will fit you well. It's on the way and Willows CA. Is a must see destination!
