Default Speedbleeders for a 1981 928?

Which part number to use? Speedbleeders.com does not list it.

Thanks!

I hate it when someone answers a question that I didn't ask, but...you may want to consider a Motive pressure bleeder instead of speedbleeders. A friend of mine used to use Speedbleeders on his 3rd gen RX-7 and his observations were that the seal at the threads worked great the first few times, but after that as he pumped the brake pedal, air would get sucked in at the threads, bypassing the check valve in the speedbleeder. YMMV.

With the Motive pressure bleeder (about the cost of 4 speedbleeders) you can pressure bleed the system and have something that you can use on multiple cars. Just a suggestion. I've used a Motive pressure bleeder for a few years and have been pretty happy with the results. Just don't over pressurize the resevoir or you'll blow out the "blue hose". Keep it it less than 10 psi - preferably closer to 5 from what I recall.

AS to your original quesiton - sorry, I can't answer that one.

The 1010S would be for the S4 and later...the earlier cars use the 7100.

Awesome. I was guessing as that I know the numbers for Brembo & GT3 that are not on their web site. Glad you could clarify. I have used many bleeding systems over the years and I prefer my Speedbleeders.

Is the catalog wrong?

Yes sir it is...I've made the correction. The SB-7100 is correct for the front and rear of an 81.
