Spent this week in Palmdale...got to love the sunshine!!! It was crazy cold back East. Headed back to MD this weekend and start our road trip back West. We'll be official residence by 2 Feb

Making good time...left Lexington Park Md yesterday morning and kept it short to Nashville, TN. Headed out early and made it to Ft Worth this evening. Having a great sushi dinner with John and Rhonda...Parahna Killer Sushi is the best we've ever had!! Great friends and great food, what more could we ask for ;-)!

Made it!!!!
Well, we departed Ft Worth on Tuesday and headed down to Tularosa, NM and visited friends. Took a breather Wednesday and spent another night there. Shot over to Las Vegas Thursday and rolled into Palmdale yesterday!!!
Just over 3,000 miles and it was great...the weather was good until the windy tumble weed drive over to Vegas! Other than that, we are rested up and look forward to getting settled.
Rocket was delivered Friday and has been out of sight in a friends garage. I'll bring to the house after the movers are done unloading the house.
Funny, I seen an 86.5 today on a flatbed right here in Palmdale...anyone know who lives here?

Do I read correctly that you actually moved to Palmdale? Thought you were going to be living a little further south and west...
Good news... Angeles Crest Hwy and Angeles Forest highway conspire to offer a pretty nice drive between where you are and where I am. Let me know when you get settled a bit. Come by and we'll grill something and sip something. With a little notice we can invite the locals too.
