Just took over my mom's (at 81, she doesn't drive it much anymore) 1989 928. Was able to drive it from Tulsa, OK to San Diego, CA over 26 hours without much trouble.
I have a source that tells me it is a GT but the Rennlist VIN decoder says it is an S4. Thoughts?
Appreciate any information you might be able to send my way. The options sticker is long gone

The one I own was also advertised as “S4” (most VIN decoders will report that). My “tell tales” were the 6,600RPM redline (S4 is 6,400 if I recall) and the numbered scale on the temp gauge (S4 only has the lines, no numbers).
