Hi, really keen to find out what I can about my 1988 928S4 please:

It's been in Western Australia for 16 years, arriving here from Japan. The last owner told me it was delivered new in Germany, but I have some doubts...

Thanks Rob. That cassette radio sounds like it might have been a bit flash! It's of course long gone. I don't get the manhole covers either. The car was painted Diamond black prior to me buying it nearly 25 years ago.

Transmission serial # will be on the bottom of the case, 3rd rib from the rear end. And yes, someone else posted this VIN, see post # 4110, above.
