I knew it!
00641 means a preproduction car (0 serie).
This is the sixth car I've found with this code. The first four were the preproduction CS's 45061, 45062, 65061 and 65062. Then Joerg's preproduction US 1992 GTS.

I734 and I735 were used in preproduction car, like this one.
It's not a prototype but it was probably produced during the 1992 MY year period, even if it is a 1993 MY.
This sticker should be under the boot's carper but I'm glad it survived into the warranty booklet.
133-0001 indicates that this is the first 928 ordered of the 1993 MY.
100 103 is the dealer code and this is a factory car, certainly for the marketing department.
Do you find the original registration into the car's papers?
When was it first registered?
The Z-order 00641 can be deciphered by a Porsche center. It must be interesting.
Any picture to share?

Perfect.
Registered for Porsche at Weissach and certainly used as a company car. The multicolor seat inserts is a nice touch found on other pre-production 928s.
Now, it's time to check the official Porsche pictures to maybe discover this car.
Also, it was registered in April 1992, a few months before the official start of the 1993 MY.

Hi Jason-
This is a right-hand drive 1980 ROW S, the database lists no options for it, but here are the basics:
1980 Euro S 5-speed
C23 - Australian market
M28/11 - engine serial # range 820 0001>1000
G00000 - no transmission code but should be a G28.05, transmission serial # range 11 05001>09999

I'm quite sure that this is first US GT and that it is also a preproduction one and stayed in Germany. I will check the data on this one.
Edit: Well, it is reported as destroyed, in September 2011. Too bad.
