I think we're a long way from people creating fake provenance 928s. If anything, having pictures of the originals 'out there' establishes _their_ provenance.

I guess it might fall in the ‘nice problem to have’ category. I’ll take some nice pics of it when the suns out. It’s been ‘in the family since about ‘91-ish. Have the history since then. Just been through a light recommissioning after sitting for a little while due to illness. Just got a fresh MOT with no advisories and currently sitting at 83,000miles. It’s lovely, I’ll be bringing it along to a few meets, once the salts off the road and they start up again. I’m near Guildford so quite a few within an hour of here.

I'm not so sure about that for certain rare models.
Anyhow, I collect data to prevent this to happen for the models I'm the more knowledgeable, CS/SE/1989 GT.

Thanks for that. Can you tell from the vin if this car was originally left or right hand drive. The drivers foot well looks ordinary where the accelerator is attached and the pedal box has unfinished edges. Currently RHD
