thank you so much Rob. here are a couple of pics. appears to match the options list except the rubstrips are gone. could have been removed as it has been re-painted. seats look re-covered, does anyone know if sport seats would originally have matched the color of the rest of the interior?
I agree those seats look recovered, looks like French seams along the bolster edges. If they are recovered I want to know who did them, they're beautiful. I have a rough set of early sport seats here that have perforations in the center section. Not sure if that's universal or not.
ok. the vin the seller gave me was one number off. it appears to be a comp group car though so I pulled the trigger anyway ( fingers crossed). no limited slip, but S brakes maybe?

I am in the Detroit area and I tried to decode the VIN number on this '80 euro version I found l locally. For some reason it doesn't follow the decoding pattern I found online. A helpful member here helped me with it. I was wondering if anyone knows what options it came with and maybe confirm the VIN if possible?

Those are the only two options listed in the PET database, so no sunroof, no rubstrips.
