To my knowledge, there wasn't a sticker on a 1980 928.

92A0810214 should be a 1980 Californian 928.

Many thanks! If the 1980 cars didn't come with a sticker that would explain it. Does anyone know if the certificate of authenticity from Porsche includes more of the options that are in/on the car such as AC, sunroof delete, full leather, etc? I might still get one anyways or maybe the $100 might be better spent on gas. Thanks again for the service!

The equipment codes were meant to help to produce the car in the right configuration, so they will not list the base equipment for a specific market (AC for a US car by example). Also, the color combination, and material used for the interior is not included. You will have this information on the certificate of authenticity.
From a German POW, sunroof delete is not an equipment; a sunroof is

Default 1980 928 S 5 speed Options

Hope all is well. I recently acquired a 80 928 5 speed and noticed through some searching you are able to search options based on the vin. Any way you could hook me up? The vin is: 92A0810200

I'd really appreciate it and super cool that your willing to do this for people!

Thanks again.
