Is Fire Red (M474) the color of just the shocks, or should there be more red under there?
Were red brakes an option then, and if so would there be a code?
Were painted wheel inserts an option?

Yes, the RAL 3000 refers to some paint color code system. The Boge sport shocks should be the only thing that's red- as far as I'm aware no 928 ever came with red calipers from the factory.
The first cars with painted crest wheel center caps were in the 1990 model year.
