That VIN is missing the last 4 digits. All I can say right now is that it's a US/Canada 1987 S4.
(Actually, the check digit narrows it to one of 220 VINs, but I can't go any further than that...)
RE: the data source, versions of Porsche's PET used to have the functionality to check options for a given VIN.
