There are no differences between 49-state and California-market 928s, other than the emissions sticker(s).

G00000 - 5 speed, no type listed, not sure if it should be a G28.03 or a G28.05, the former should be transmission serial # range 11 00001>05000, if it's a G28.05 it should be transmission serial # range 11 05001>09999. The changeover to G28.05 was the start of 1980 calendar year)
