In fact, this is the same car as WP0JB092_GS860723, so a 1986 US 928 S.

I158: Radio "Monterey" - 86
M319: Changed set-up of fan
M418: Side protections

C00 - German market
M28.22 - engine serial # range 82G 05001>10000
A28.09 - This is a little strange, the A28.09 was supposedly only for the Swiss and Swedish market to go along with the lower compression M28.22. The German market automatic is listed as A28.08, which has a 2.35:1 final drive, while the A28.09 is 2.53:1. It's a 7% difference, RPM at 60 mph might help tell which one is in the car. I wonder (with no evidence to support it) if it's because the car lists a trailer hitch (does it have a trailer hitch on it?)

M058- "Impact absorbers front and rear, Bumper with shock absorber instead of
shock absorber-tube"
I139- Adjustable Seat Heating - Left
I208- Trailer coupling - this is the only car in the entire PET database that lists a trailer coupling as an option.
M220- LSD
I251- Automatic transmission, shorter gear ratio 33/13 (2.54:1) for Sweden and Switzerland A28.03 and A28.09
M261- Outside mirror - plain-Passenger's side, electrically adjustable and heatable
I295- Prepared for Telephone, TEKADE B-2 Network - (87-89, Federal Republic of Germany)
I319- Changed set-up of fan (additional engine cooling for hot climate countries)
I328- Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 45
I340- Seat heating - Right
I415- Widening of the gauge on the track on the rear axle
I490- Hi-Fi sound system ( 8 speakers, balance control, 1983-86.0)
M494- 86- Additional Amp -Blaupunkt Quadro BQB-80
M533- Alarm
Thanks for the feedback, yes indeed it has the original trailer coupling intact. The trailer coupling is made by ORIS, but its stamped Porsche on the type plate.

The car was imported from Switzerland. Another strange thing about this car is that on the option sticker there are no options. Only C00 for Germany.

The Gearbox is indeed an A28/09 with 12 stamped after that for the important LSD. :-)

So a pretty unique spec all in all I would say. :-)

Yeah, thanks, its a US car originally.

What is the sports steering wheel? Is it only the hub, or a different wheel?

Cheers,
R
