I'm new on this forum, which seems to hold a lot of good and valuable information.
I’mpresently looking into getting a 928 in my garage, and would like to know thefactory options the car came with.
The car is aEuropean MY 1988.
VIN: WP0ZZZ92ZJS849772
Looking forward to learn more about the 928 world, Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
It's not unusual for these Japanese market cars to have very few options, as in this case. Are you in Japan, Canada, or the U.S.?

The not exactly heavily loaded car & myself are in Europe!
Is Japanese market Porsche's poor equipped or in other way low range?

Between 1980 and 1995 there were 1908 Japanese market left-hand drive and 160 right hand drive 928s.
Among both the LHD and RHD cars, up until 1992 there were very few cars with more than 5 listed options. Their GTSs list a lot more options but that's true with all markets- I think it was a change in the way Porsche recorded optional equipment.
They're otherwise similar to all other ROW markets, besides some Japan-only things, like mudflaps and catalyst temp sensors.
