Holy grail?

It was an excellent sample, but the story of many owners has dimmed that story slightly.

Should still be a good 928, but I would inspect it closely. I have forwarded all the info I have to paalw.

It was before you got hold of it. Sadly your old pics are no longer available. Do you still have that winter driving video somewhere? When was paint changed to black? Also gear selector was same color as rest of the leather IIRR.

Video is gone, but I have the pics on a hard drive currently not plugged (I think).

You are correct, the whole interior was light red, including headliner and all three layers of carpet.

Not very many metallic black ones out there, and a rare color interior as well. I had a Cosmos Black (metallic) BMW M3 back in the late 90's, it was gorgeous. Wish Porsche had made more 928s in metallic black and white pearl.

It wasn't the standard metallic black, it had a purple spark under sunlight.

If you can dig up those old pictures please do. I bet many people who haven't been around for over 10 years haven't seen interior like it had back then.
