Oops, you're right, it's the wrong one, but basically the same process except that you have to loosen the rear pinch first, and remove the top half of the bellhousing. Then when you push back the trans and have the front end of the TT off you can get access to the upper rear TT bolts.

I'll find the other link. Too much Jamesons.

OK, here's the other one. Thanks to Bill for these instructions!

Sorry it took so long, was fixing my old Chev truck and helping my son change the alternator in his Land Rover. I guess maybe we shouldn't complain so much about breakdowns on these 30 year old 928's. And guess which is better to drive!

I want to give a special thanks to James Bailey, duckman82 for a correct diagnosis, and to Kevin in Atlanta, and Constantine for supplying the parts needed for the repair. Everything went well, and I finally drove the car out of the garage today. Growling sound is gone, no more vibrations!, car runs better than ever since I bought it. During the down time I did some intake stuff also, thanks also goes to Roger for his help.
I thought I had already posted pics of the TT refresh, but they are still on my camera, I will try to make time to get them on here next weekend.
Again thanks to everyone that helped me get through this!
