I hope that's a one-way street, otherwise he's going to be off-roading trying to pass someone going the other way!

Strosek Ultra - Reading the description this is an 85 S2 with the S4 body kit - was this a normal Strosek conversion. Leaning towards a Gemballa as my next purchase out of Europe.
I really like the look but would prefer an S4 to be an S4 - comments & information appreciated.

Conversions were done both all new cars and to some which were few years old. In late eighties it made sense to convert earlier body to latest style. So there are both S2 and S4 which look same and were made around same time. Some used car conversions were done to cars which had accident damage. This shouldn't be big deal as change was done as well as possible meaning all damage was fixed properly.

Roger, Strosek made many combinations of wide body cars, it was a question of what the buyer wanted. From what I can see it is all Strosek stuff except for the wheels on the car. Most certainly it is a later build, do not think Strosek had the headlights to offer in the mid 80´s, according to my files the headlights were approved by the german authorities in January 1990. The rear wing is not the latest version. The car seems to be in very good condition and the owner having a small collection of cars, has done a lot to it. He says the car has been sitting still not used very much for many years.

Like the Gemballa, this is an auction ending at 22:29pm December 27.

Right now there are seven Strosek 928 cars for sale on Mobile.de but they are all very expensive. http://suchen.mobile.de/auto/porsche...&ambitCountry=

There is also on 928 DP for sale, also very expensive. http://suchen.mobile.de/auto/porsche...&ambitCountry=
