Sweet! A rear fog is on my "Want to do at some point, but there's a lot of other stuff first" list.
And you are missing the 14 pin cover. I don't see a jump post cap either, but it might be there. There is something changed with that big red wire coming over the top of the intake tube.
Definitely a nice one. A lot of little stuff, but all of it looks doable.
The thing I've found is that if you look at the whole package, it's overwhelming, but if you just take one task at a time, you can make a lot of progress, one little job at a time.
And make a list of stuff you need and call 928 International. Half price sale on used stuff in December.

The dash won't crack - its covered in leather
Your car appears to have a full leather interior - and the dash is in excellent shape, which implies the rest of the interior will be good too. Usually the leather has shrunk and the seam that runs along the bevel pulls towards you int he middle, away from the air vents. There is factory stitching on the center console edges too. You'll also find stitching around/on the door pulls and trim, and in a few places on the rear quarter panels. Note too that your headliner will be made of leather as well - so when you're treating the seats with the leather conditioner of your choice, you'll need to go to town and coat most of the interior at the same time
edit: "Full leather" was a package option which covers all the major interior panels in leather - leather covered bits in your car probably include all of these:
Dash + Glovebox lid
Center console
A-pillars
Door trim (both the handle and the top part of the door panel)
Rear console sides/lid
Rear quarter panels
Outer side bolsters for the rear seats (i.e. the cover that hides the belt mechanism)
Headliner
Hatch-side headliner piece
Shifter boot
Steering wheel
Other bits can be covered in leather too in some cars (e.g. pod, switches, level controls, handbrake etc.) but those other bits are Exclusive dept. options with special option codes, so I doubt they're on your car based on the codes posted above.
Looks good, congratulations after a very long search!
Full leather, 5 speed and LSD are 3 very nice outcomes

Wow, thanks for the info on the leather. I may not do the seats, after all... The center console, though, has to be done...that thing is absolutely shot. That whole little center area needs to be re-done entirely.
Yeah, the warning lights are in German. Want to stop by next week and check it out airflite40?

You'll probably find that the foam is a bit flattened in the front seats (mainly the drivers) so they might respond well to refoaming and some leather repairs and re-coloring.
Look froward to seeing your results.

You guys are just full of insight, damn. Yeah the foam is worn, but the leather is fine. I hadn't even thought of this.
It's such a sweet ride. I'm not afraid of the elbow grease. I'm going to tackle the seat electrix this weekend. Cool thing is I have a buddy that works for Bosch and can hook me up with any Bosch components for pretty cheap...
And yes, I have been overall looking for about two years - came and go a few times, and here I am back again. Funny thing is I saw this car on Craigslist about 3-4 months ago for about $7000. I didn't even call on it for whatever reason. Then my dad was driving and getting off of the expressway and he saw it. Circled around and asked the guy if it was for sale, turns out it was. He got the guy's business card, and gave it to me and I misplaced it. Decided "hmm...that may be the craigslist car" - turns out it was and now I own it.

Congrats and welcome to the Midwest 928 owners crowd. This is going to be a fun project. Love the color from the pics and it looks like you got a nice space to wrench in. Where are you located in Chitown? Would love to see the car live and maybe help turn wrenches if you need a hand!

Wow, thanks man! Yes, that's a building my family owns, so I have plenty of space. I'm on the Northwest Side near Irving Park and Elston (that's where the shark is at!). Love to have you by sometime to share 928 stories!!

Well good news! No chicanery with that red wire. It was just a B/S bypass providing power to the brake light switch so that the brake lights could be functional at any time. Removed it today!
Put her up on a lift and all is nice except for the rack and pinion, so I'll order one of those tomorrow!
