Roger--

Holiday half-off for used parts like the competition? If so I'd love to have 3 good used H4 assemblies. (at that price I can afford a spare...)

I can't afford half price sales - sorry 8>)
However I do have the parts available.

I have 8" H4's on both of my cars. The one's on my '82 I bought from Zims about 10 years ago ($180 ea). This set does not have the little nipple on the top of the lens. The set on my '89 I bought from Roger about 2 years ago ($342 ea). This set has the nipple. Both sets are Bosch (not Hella) and have identical numbers on the lens.

Maybe you were thinking of the 7" H4's which were/are made by Hella (among others)? I've had a set of those before I made the jump to 8" H4's.

No offense, but I really do not understand this, unless you don't drive at night. Granted, my eyes are getting old and my night vision isn't what it used to be. But even when I was young and could drive by moonlight, I always wanted the best lamps.

I grew up with Marchals and Marchal flamethrowers, so I was spoiled then and developed very high standards.

Function over form, every time. Form follows, it doesn't lead.

Or maybe I am just wrong. You are correct, the 8" factory lights are made by Bosch.
