Default 2 wire plug under DS memory seat??

There is a two pole plug extending from the car-side harness under the driver side seat on my '90 S4 w/8-way comfort seat w/memory. The two wires are brown and red/black (or black/red. I can never remember the order Porsche puts the colors.) I looked at the wiring drawings to see if it was a heater connection but the colors are wrong based on the drawing. I have a corresponding plug on the seat bottom but it appears to be a harness connection for seat heaters, which this car never had.

Thanks

Mike

Does your seat belt warning extinguish after you clip in?

I think you nailed it. The wire colors are right for the seat belt switch according to the diagram. The seat belt warning light goes out once the car is started but I don't remember if it goes out once the belt is latched with the car off but the key on. When I get the seat back in I'll check this behavior. Is there supposed to be a buzzer to go along with the seat belt light?

Default related question (rookie mistake)

I have a related question to the original post.

While I was removing the driver's side memory seat in prep to replace the the seat wiring harness (burned relay — much thanks to 928intl for replacement part), I foolishly neglected to take note of which jack the two pin plug in the car wiring harness in picture below connects to. My vague recollection is (A) in the second picture

car wiring harness side: where do I go?

seat wiring harness side: 1st choice

At the time I thought there was only one option, but apparently there are two -- see also connector (B)

seat wiring harness side: 2nd choice

Can someone confirm the correct answer: A or B?

Also: I'm pretty sure the previous post tells us this connection is for the seat belt alarm — but what is the other plug connector (C) for? And should it be connected somewhere? My car (an 88) does not have seat heaters, BTW.

BTW, I have the WSM, and try as I might I could not find the answer to these questions within.

Thanks
