FWIW, Mr. Hemmings is listed as a marque expert, NOT a model expert

This was a mock-up from before they went to print. The actual books have a 928 on the title.

That is the nicest (or at least oddest) thing I've ever heard anyone say about a 968.

See the New Visitor FAQ thread for the acronyms and slang listing with the definition of 'enzo'. It's not a compliment.

I think he was referring to calling the 968 a 928 a "nicest thing" I could be wrong though. Wouldn't be the first time.

I can understand the confusion. My Dad has a red 968 and all his neighbors wave at me thinking I'm him when I drive through their subdivision. I just chuckle.

I did not get the Enzo reference in relation to Rennlist slang. Just figured it was taking a relatively minor misidentification and amplifying it for humorous effect. Figured there was possibly an inside joke I wasn't getting.
Just had a visit from my FIL and his girlfriend, she is decidedly of the "all fast cars look alike" school, so perhaps my brain was predisposed to that kind of thinking.

enzo = posted somewhere else already. It's a quick and dirty way of saying there already exists a thread or two on the topic. The history behind it is amusing. Come to think about it, this post is actually an enzo

Yeah, I checked the acronym list after Randy pointed to it.
