Well, here's an update.
I used the dispute resolution device to get them to answer.
Get this, they're communicating that they shipped the article. But I didn't buy insurance, so they're not liable. They don't have any shipping information or a tracking number, funny thing.
They also claim that my email doesn't work, but it's the same email I'm using for the dispute resolution. Besides, I sent them my phone number.
I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge.
You guys are right, the guys at Partwerks of Chicago are weasels.
I've learned my lesson.

I got some sorry hospital injury story from them. I'm convinced these guys are con artists. They also sell a lot of garbage...speakers that don't work in my case. I heard of a story of a 911 case with a bullet hole in it.

Now that housing in Detroit is dirt cheap, maybe we ought to bash the suburbs so I can get a 2000+ sq ft. house for less than $400K. Ugh.

I, too, had an LH unit rebuilt by Patrwerks about a year ago. No problems at that time...
In as far as the LH rebuild is concerned, there is a sticker on the LH unit on the inside that reads 'Injector Corp.'
I tried looking them upon the Internet with no luck. Talking with Jay at Partwerks, he indicated that they used comeone about 100 miles from their office/garage/storage building (or whatever Partwerks does business out of).

Same experience here - over a $5 + $4 sh&h for a bloody clutch alignment tool and a month of hassle. Very poor communication, eventually they claimed to have shipped, same deal with the "you choose no insurance". Finally showed up 2 weeks after that so I know they didn't shop it the first time. WILL avoid in the future! Glad I didn't go through them for something expensive.
