Uh - trim facia just behind the hood has to come up. Two screws on each side. Or you will bend it and deform the trim facia.

You'll need to remove the vertical windshield moldings to get the two screws mentioned above. There is some risk you can crack the windshield removing them or tapping them back in - BTDT years ago while removing a seized wiper motor.
Some windshield installers use too much silicone at the bottom of the windshield and manage to glue the fascia to the windshield - as is the case with my current 87. That is why I prefer the hood removal method. YMMV.

If you unbolt the cowl trim at the corner and unbolt the right-side hood hinge - after getting the blower motor unbolted completely - the blower will come right out. No need to remove the hood or the cowl (panel between windshield and hood.)

Yes, you can do just the right side, and tilt the trim/cowl out of the way, and flex the left hood hinge to access. More than one way to do a job.
