Default Vacuum Leak ???

Hey guys ..... Finally got everything buttoned up after my intake refresh. When I went to start it, it cranked and started but died after only a couple of seconds.
I'm thinking vacuum leak , but need some advise.

With the engine off and everything connected, should I be able to pull vacuum off the intake spider housing? (hooked my mityvac to the nipple at the front of the plentium.... NO vacuum)
I cannot pull any vacuum anywhere that connects to the intake... If I isolate the other components ( regulators, damper distributor etc).. I can pull vacuum on all of those.

Here is a list of the things changed and tried: still no start

Complete intake refresh .... All new vacuum hoses and gaskets.
Changed out FP and FI relays (neither new or old make any difference)
Injectors sent out to witchunter for cleaning.

It ran fine before I did the intake refresh ....

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Bill

Don't know the solution to the non-running issue.
You will not be able to pull vacuum on the spider, so that is normal.

I had this once after an intake removal. I found the issue by having my son blow cigar smoke into the intake. It came wafting out from the legs of the spider where I had two misaligned gaskets.

Well, finally after 2 weeks of troubleshooting I found the problem..... The injector harness ground that attaches to the passenger side #4 injector hold down bracket was not making ground contact ..... therefore the injectors wern't firing. ( verified with noid light)
The reason why is because I powdercoated the spider which insulated it from engine ground.
Soon as I moved the ground wire to another location it started right up.....

Wally warned me about the temp sensor giving problem due to powdercoating.
So remember what is said over and over on here...... grounds... grounds.... grounds
