Default 88 s4 motor mounts

All

I just priced motor mounts for my S4 (has a vibration , new torque tube) at $246 each. They look pretty simple. Does anyone know of cheaper alternatives that will work?

Thanks

Al

928Rus, 928International or 928 Motorsports.

Contact all or either. MUCH cheaper.

I am guessing he will get them from Roger as I see the OP is located in Dallas.

Thanks to the 928 group in the UK we added these to our inventory over two years ago as better alternatives to the failing "Ford" solid MM's.
Plenty in stock for $56 each.

The Volvo mounts from Roger are $55 each. There is a pin on them that needs to be ground off for them to fit. The ones I got from Roger already had the pin gone. It's a nice touch.

The ones from the other vendors may have that done too. I don't know. It was just nice to open the wrapping and see that it was already taken care of.

Follow the writeups and you will be fine. Dwayne has a nice one.

They work really well!!! Do keep in mind if you have a supercharged car, your engine will raise up to a hair above stock level and your crossbar won't fit. You'll need to have one made that works.

Gentlemen, thank you. I'm glad that I have an affordable solution when I get around to replacing these.

I know Roger sells them but as we have some Volvo 740 mounts in stock here in the uk I thought I might use them! They look similar but as I haven't had my hands on the genuine porsche ones I can't be sure

The last set I got from Roger earlier this year were plug and play. No pin to grind off.
