fuel injector connector harness repair
Besides the connectors that go into the fuel injectors can other connectors get replaced? I am gathering parts for a intake manifood refresh and I remember seeing burned wired as is their was a fire at one time

You can get most of the connectors for those harnesses pretty easily, as they're universal and used in most any other cars of the pre-OBD II era with Bosch fuel injection. However keep in mind that Carl/928 Motorsports makes brand new harnesses for much cheaper than a complete harness from Porsche. That's what i'm doing with mine. You send your old one in and they separate the harness just before the firewall and use connectors so that the next time you pull your harness you won't have to fish all those ECU connectors through the firewall along with the pain in the *** rubber grommet. If there was a fire i'd just get the harness rebuilt for peace of mind.

You can get all of the connectors from Roger, keeps them in stock. And Carls harness is WAY more than the Porsche ones. Good alternative on those that are NLA but his prices are higher for those that are in stock.
