Default Rear shift coupler grub screw removal

So as per usual, and every other hard to access bolt in this car... i stripped the grub screw holding the rear shift coupler on. Torque tube is removed as of now because it's only 6 bolts and relatively easy, and i'll be installing Lizards improved shifter anyways. I have a right angle drill i was using to try to drill the damn screw out but high speed steel drill bits aren't touching it. I want to just use force to break the damn thing off but i know i can't put much force on the tranny gear selector shaft or else i'll have way bigger ($$) problems to deal with... So what is the best way to get the damn thing off?

I used a Dremel to cut it off, replaced it with a used one from 928 International. Easy.
Heat might work, but this way I got new bushings already installed.

Go buy a good quality carbide or cobalt drill bit and drill it out with that. Don't drill out the threads though, just the center of the bolt.

It's pooched already from trying to drill it out. I'll just cut it off then.

I cut the whole coupler in half with a dremel, then got a good used one.
