LSD, Sports seats and sport suspension - you did very very well.

Honestly when looking at the ad, I first thought it was a scam. The seller only has a feedback of 10 (last item on his feedback was in 08). What the heck, I decided what is the worst that can happen(paypal would have refunded me the money anyway). The seller turned out to be a GREAT person(along with his mother and sister who have been helping with the process..he is living overseas..we talked almost everyday since the sale). I received the title today and the truck picked it up today. Should be at my home by the weekend or early next week.

I watched this auction until it ended all the while with fingers poised to bid. It's not far from me and would go down as one of those infamous 'ones that got away' IF I had wanted another 928.

Well bought says I.

The dash is all warped and the steering wheel is coming apart. I'll give you $2000 right now and spare you the headache of restoring this jalopy.

Seriously, you scored. And seriously, I will say the front ride height looks real low (guess 130mm despite maybe larger than stock tires). Careful over speed bumps and the like. The low front end look cools, but it puts the alternator and AC compressor and the brackets that bolt them to the block (and therefore the block) and the oil pan at risk, as well as the valance in any bumpy twisties. I'd get it back up to 160mm+, although 150 probably removes most of the risk, depending on the stiffness of the suspension.

Thanks guys..I'm excited! the shipper said I should have it by Sunday or Monday. The leather on the dash is coming up...so that will have to be address at some point. The seller told me the supension is lower due to it being a Euro model. This is my first 928(gotta get used to looking for the engine in the front), so much to learn..

This 85 Euro is going under the toolbox ,
needs lots of finessing but has lots of potential.
Rey is a great guy, and quite the car dude.
