Default S4/GT Swapped 8 point / 2 button to 12 point / 3 button heated seats wiring question

I have looked at the other seat threads for this question and did not see what I am looking for:

I swapped my 8 point to 12 point (found a set of 12 point heated) and had Robert Budd redo them in Linen (they look great) and my car was ready for the wiring less the heated 2 prog connector (like the one that is for the seatbelt sensor on the driver's side).

Question is:
Is this a simple ground and 12 V connection and does anyone know which wire is which? I also want to fuse this correctly if anyone knows.

It looks simple, but then again that is usually the death nail...

Thank you
Emerald

Yes it is a simple ground and 12V wire connection to power the seat motors. The rest of the pins are used for the memory seat controller (i.e. potentiometer feedback to the memory controller).

I've connected my 12-way seats up to power on the bench to move them around when I had them out for cleaning etc., and it was just two pins needed. I can't remember which wires it is - look for red and brown ones, it wasn't hard to spot IIRC.

Also be careful not to crush the connector with the seat rail when putting the seat down

Hope you did not do that. Pricey litle connectors. Does itmatter which is ground and 12V? And do you know what fuse level? I will run wires from the fuse panel for each side.
