Did someone here total an 89 S4 in California??
I keep cruising eBay and seeing a bunch of parts put out by Los Angeles Auto Parts, in fact i've bought a couple from this 89 S4 they keep parting out, with all the types of parts they've put up from this 89 i had to wonder if it was a member car.
Today they have stainless steel brake lines and looks like brand new low mileage uncollapsed motor mounts listed from this same S4. I bought a mint radiator and RMB from this same car.
I figured with the good condition parts and very recent motor mounts it has to be someone here! Nobody who's anybody here keeps their 928 in a bad state of repair like most used parts and parts cars you see on eBay.

We did have a member who trashed his but with the hit it took I"m sure the radiator was toast.

You made me browse through them, now it makes me wonder after looking at those relay computers (brakes, fans, cruse control etc).
Can't we make a smaller, lighter and less power hungry versions of those using today's technology? being the front side is the hardest area to lose weight.

These guys have had a 928 focus for several years and always have a pretty good selection of stuff. Folks I have spoken with have had good experiences with them. I bought a motor from them years ago. I bid on it because I saw the euro S intake, but when I went to pick it up I realized it had a US block with a Euro S top end. They let me have it for less than my bid price, which I thought was fair.

They have high quality used parts that's for sure. I like how they only seem to put stuff up that actually has some life left in them. I honestly think most used 928 parts being sold are useless as they are beaten to **** and usually just as bad if not worse than the part you have on your car. The only used parts worth buying are simple metal brackets and stuff that can't deteriorate, or stuff that can be rebuilt for less than the cost of new. So much junk out there that should be chucked out rather than sold as parts... Makes no sense to buy a used ABS harness that is just as ****ty if not worse than the one you have in your car. Unless you just want to make your 928 a reliable daily...
