If you think that was atrocious, take a look at this:

 

Now that isn't half bad. An "Estate" or "Shooting Brake" conversion.

Extra space in the back, still decent visibility. If it was done reasonably well, I wouldn't have any issues with it.

But then, I also liked the Jag conversion in "Harold and Maude," so my taste may well be suspect.
