Ignition monitor relay sensors. One in each cylinder head. There should holder for those connectors at rear end of each head.

I been able to re-attach one, the other is going to be harder (less space) Any idea what sort of issues these plugs would cause if left unpluged (not that I would) just wondering.

Leaving one out makes ignition monitor relay think there is something wrong in one of two coil circuits and shut down half of the engine.

Interesting that they were loose. Did somebody bridge the monitoring relay?

I had originally notices the lower part of the plugs hanging, when I was under the car. It appears the plugs just pulled apart when they detached from the bracket that held them together and in place.
I am having a bitch of a time getting my hand up and past the exhaust on the driver side to re-connect that one.

I was wondering the same, look under the ECU's for a clear relay (passenger foot well, on the fender side).

Do you still have CAT's on the car, they are part of the CAT protection system to prevent car fires.

Doc M. did a great write up ion the system n a recent thread here "eng problem U never heard of..." or something like that.
