it is not Tony's car, wrong interior color.
he had his car always serviced in Weissach and his cars went through regular car wash. except his 356 Carrera, that was always hand washed !!

Cool car. Not exactly what I'm looking for myself, but very cool!

I think the title of the post is kind of deceptive. I have been following the prices of 928's in Europe for quite some time. I don't really have the impression that the prices are on the rise, I can cite numerous examples of over-priced 928s that have been for sale for even several years now that aren't moving. I don't know if this one is overpriced because I haven't looked at it, but it has been listed for 3 years: http://home.mobile.de/AUTOMOBILE-NEFF#des_3471424. Several others I have even looked at in the course of my many trips.

BTW Gary, I know of one other US delivery 94' 5-speed with the rootwood option including the e-brake handle. It's the full leather Oak Green 18k mile one here in SLC that Nicole would almost commit murder for.

Hans: thank you very much for having taken the time to provide this kind of information here, as you are uniquely qualified with the kind of information on which 928's your father had and drove.

Everyone here owns him and his design team forever thanks for creating such a stellar car the 928 is: a timeless never aging classic design.

Asking prices in Europe on late 928's (I'm a bit more biased looking at GT's and GTS's) that are in decent to good shape are definitely on the up for the last few years (as many here, I spend too much time following it several times per month - if not weekly - and occasionally do inquire), when compared with similar MY offerings during 2010-2011.

I can agree with you that this particular one is a rather steep asking price, then again: in Europe there are much less low mileage cars being put up for sale when compared with the offerings in the USA.

Hans, do you know if your father has had a manual 1987 S4 black with grey\green interior, and CS design rims?
Thank you in advance.

I had the pleasure to met him during the Euro 2002 and it was great to discuss with him.
