Default 87 928 just got very fast....

Just want to take a moment and give huge KUDOS!! To Carl at 928 motor sports . I just got my car back from their shop in Wisconsin after the purchase and install of their stage 1 Kit. What a difference maker and what a great looking motor! Carl was just awesome to work with and his attention to detail was as if the car was his. They even handled a couple of un-related problems for me ie adjustments on my Bowden cable. Thought the 928 community should know when it comes to these cars there just isn't a better place to go for performance upgrade, service and wisdom! Thanks for everything Carl.

Thanks for the kind words, Terry.

I don't have a "before" dyno for Terry's car as it was delivered to us with bad water pump. We replaced water pump, timing belt, head-gaskets and installed a Stage 1 supercharger kit for him.

Here are the "after" dyno charts. All numbers at the tire, of course.
With temperature correction factor, 368 Wheel HP or 433 HP at the crank.

Terry also had us powder-coat his cam covers and intake manifold, and dress it up with new ignition wires and red lettering.
His 1987 928 is just beautiful! That paint is like a foot deep...

Here is his engine after...

Nice work, beautiful engine. Why don't you open a shop out east (i.e. Williamsburg!).

Nice,,,it really doesn't take much to wake these cars up. Problem is, once you wake them up, you want more.......and a bit more...and the slippery slope begins.

Gorgeous car.

Looks wonderful. Would like to know if that 15% power loss from crank to rear wheel went through an auto or 5spd. TIA. T

That rear pipe just before the throttle body looks really really high! Was this photo taken before the final install?

That's a top shelf looking install and top end refresh there Carl, great work. And that's coming from someone who hates centrifugals!
