Default Need "Junk" 87+ cylinder head

Does anyone have a junk 87+ cylinder head laying around? I have a couple spares here, but they are good usable cores (except for my only R5 GTS head which I want to keep for templates). Deck can be trashed, valve bores wallowed out from timing belt failure... etc. I want to do some destructive inspection of intake ports, and try and do some injector placement testing/measurement.

Thanks
Hans

Still looking for a junk head if anyone has one. I would love to slice it open for injector spray pattern testing. Getting closer and closer to slicing up one of my viable heads....

Thanks
Hans

Hans an S3 won't work for you? if yes, I have one for you, it has a broken chain tension mount.

Alas, no, S3 wont work. It has different port geometry, and this project is S4 only. Thanks though!

Hans,
I know you are looking for a donated Junk head, but have you tried 928 International or DC Automotive, they might have a junk one at a low cost. You could also try Losangelesautoparts on ebay, they also are quite reasonable.
Hope that helps and saves a good one from being used.

I may take you up on that Mark, as long as its bad to a point it cant be repaired. I dont want to take any out of circulation. I am going to double check my inventory, but think all mine are useable.

Someone out there has to have a head that is unusable after a rod failure or other catastrophic incident.

Thanks
Hans
