Default Cowl Cover

I noticed that the cowl cover thread was closed as I was about to post a photo of my cover.

Remarkably, it still is intact. I carefully scrubbed it, and then hit it with Eastwood's 'Pre' cleaning spray (http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-pre-painting-prep.html), masked the decals, and then hit it with Eastwood's Underhood Black spray paint (http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-s-u...ack-paint.html). This product is exactly the correct level of gloss for parts like the cowl cover.

I will get one of Jerry's covers because this one is so flimsy, but thought I'd share a photo.

Cool. Is that Eastwood's semigloss or matte?

It's their semi-gloss, Jim. 'Underhood Black' on the can. Perfect for the rear trailing arms and front crossmember... and the cowl cover!

Their Chassis Black is the gloss product and both of them are simply amazing given what we used to work with before these came along. They have their 2-part products which I've yet to try, but that's pure genius.
