Default Curse you Greg Brown and your team at Precision Motorwerks - stroker

Its terrible, Greg and his team have left me with 2 under power 928s at home that are fun, yet just don't feel the same

You drive those stock 928s and it is much like dragging a tractor behind you.

The geneses of this outrage comes from the serious tail kicking Greg and his team of bandits did. Not only did he meet his original delivery date, we added tranny, AC and various other time consuming tasks.

I have worked with many mechanics and trade folks and nailing an original due date while adding scope is unheard of. Greg and team worked crazy long nights last week to deliver one unbelievable power train! My God is this baby fun. Not only that, she blows cold like a champ with the new AC mods he made. It is going to be a cool summer in the southern AZ dessert this coming year.

All kidding aside, Greg provided:
o 1 Smokin' 6.5 liter Stroker
o New AC system mods
o Updated AC items
o Greg Brown special possy rear 89 auto

I am not sure the grin has left my face in the last 600 miles since I picked her up Friday... Whooo-hooooo!

Thank you Greg, Mary, and the entire staff of true Super Pros!

Ill see you next week for the 2K timing belt adjust

The AC mods were his new more powerful AC kit, larger fan and a few other goodies I think he is going to sell in a kit soon. That baby is so cold I have to turn it off...

You were there too? I would have stayed if I knew you were dropping in.

Only for about an hour, then had to dive into Friday rush hour traffic to go to Lake Arrowhead.....

Nicole, the A/C upgrade is the Greg Brown 'Arizona Special' system. Additional condenser capacity and a hotrodded blower. Also installed on Dan Hebert's Turquoise beast.

Greg was finally won over by Kibort's e-RAM, but he applied it to the A/C blower motor instead. I think that would count as supercharged.

The real only down side to me is I wanted to build one, with Greg's guidance, myself, but I know I could not have done what he did in the time period or for the $ these beauties are just so knowledge based.

Timing on this was funny. I was on the way back from San Fran after the outlands concert and exactly 200 miles from Greg's shop my water pump went out on I5. I had my baby towed to his shop, Greg and his Bride stayed ate to receive her and we started to look at the work ahead.

My motor had about 100K since the PO had done so work (spent lots of $ to fix something that went wrong) and she did not have the standard 928 power. I have an 90K clean motor in my garage I have been going through that I was going to drop in. After working with Greg and looking sat what was the right thing to do to get my belt/water pump replaced, the gears were warn, and a few other things like my AC issues the $s in parts alone looked bad (just standard parts ya-know).

We started the discussion on this lovely 6.5 l, I did the real accounting of that motor, the cost of his motor, my desire to have some more hp and it was an easy trade.

His system, plus all the bonuses like better mpg (about 8 more that I was getting, 4 more that normal) and I pulled the trigger.

I could not buy a car this much fun, with this much power and control for near what I have it her now.

I am one happy puppy!

Thanks again Greg and those that recommended his power system.

My blue baby in the avatar. That is my daily driver. I have put 25K a year on er the last 2-yrs and the next year will be many more I am sure. I have a lot of road trips I need to do... Timing all of this for reliability and pure pleasure of driving could no t have been better.

Beautiful car. Motor sound impressive but the aircon job tempting. Can you please post or pm Greg's contact details. If the upgrade work well in Arizona it should be cool on the Sunshine Coast.
