So on my way home from work yesterday I had my exhaust hanger rubbers break. I used a iPod hook up cord to tie up the back to get home. They split in half. They were hard. So I replaced them for less than $15.00. The muffler only got a few scratches. I'm sure these exhaust hangers are less than an exhaust. A good thing to check.

if you used factory hangers they should last 27 years and 10 months and 8 days YMMV

Yup. If you haven't replaced a part that is rubber or plastic on your car and it's part of the running/safety gear, you are LONG overdue. I consider things that keep the exhaust from dragging under 'safety gear'. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Bushings, hoses, grommets, even the grease has degraded and is now working against you.
