Anyone remember it or have any pictures of it please ?

Wow, people are so negative sometimes. Do it Brett, I reckon it will look cool.

I support the initiative. It might end up looking like hell, but why not?

You could always pick up a detailed miniature and have it chromed, just to see how it will look, and before you invest in wrapping your actual car.

I agree, that's hideous!!

But my 1st thought was laser reflection. Because of the design, the 928 is a hard target for cops using laser. Chrome is going to change that.

It's your car, do what you want with it. This is not much different from how much money some people on here spend on their 928's to make them faster, it's just because they want to and have the money, do your own thing. 30K to do a reliable stroker build? I think it's ludicrous too, but nobody bats an eye at that. Hell for the price of a good stroker build and the price of a good base to start on combined, i can pick up a mint M5. So go ahead and do what you want. We seem to have quite alot of car ****'s here that claim to be the ultimate experts on what to and what not to do with cars, who gives a ****, it's your car not there's. I want to make a Nissan Versa SL econobox faster, most people think it's stupid, but it's my personal taste and my own car, i can do what i want. That's the great thing about the car scene, it's like an art, you can express yourself through your car mods, that's what makes being a car enthusiast so neat.

Check out dipyourcar.com They do some really cool stuff on some cool cars. Can peel the stuff off and go for another look and it won't break the bank. So it's fun to play with.

Did a car in black and it came out great. The paint on the car was bad and I did the whole car in an afternoon.

ha ha I guess that's one way to cure a FI problem. Chrome paint should help keep your car cool out in the summer desert. Why is it that some seem to think tires jutting out from the body looks cool? -oh yeah, Jeep owners.......

If you can move your arm right and left and keep your wrist firm you can paint this stuff. It lays down easy. Check out the forum. Some sweet new MY M3's that look great!
