replacing transmission vacumm modulator
taking car to the shop tomorrow to have the transmission modulator replaced (among other things), and never saw anything about how to remove/replace it - only how to adjust. i doesn't look like it would be anything difficult, but i've been wrong before!
just want to be sure and give something to the guy - he's a Porsche mechanic, but i don't know how fluent he is on our wacky 928's and Mercedes transmissions.
thanks for any help!

Shark, it's bolts in - bolts out.
Simple change on this one. BUT, just like anything on transmission service absolute clean is needed.
Oh, and be sure he treats the little rubber cap nicely, and re-seats it well. Vacuum loss can come from here too.
