You think that was hard... I was having a terrible time trying to install the spring clips the way that the PO's mechanic had them in. In referring to these pics I realized he had them backwards! Pushed in for the backside with the hook on the shoe. Not sure how he ever got them in.

Anyway, thanks to those who posted the pics here, they steered me in the right direction finally.
